I needed to replace a couple clean out gaskets on my pellet stove. The gaskets are about 3" x 6" and like 20$ a piece. I should be able to get 6 or 8 out of this sheet for under 20$ I think that's a good dealThe material is useful to make gaskets for liquids, but I don’t think it’s food grade. Others have used this silicone sheet for articles that contact food, but there is nothing in the product description or on the packaging stating that the sheet is food grade or FDA approved. In fact, there is a warning on the package about “cancer and reproductive harm.” See the picture attached to this review. The material is flexible and easily cut to size with scissors or a blade, just know you are using it at your own risk for food-grade applications.Bought this material to make gaskets for 2 moka espresso pots. The one pot had an old rubber gasket that fell apart when I removed it. The 2nd pot I made a spare gasket since the manufacturer Minos is not responding to my requests to purchase a spare gasket. The sheet cuts really easily with a brand new disposable scalpel and sharp scissors. So I now have a new gasket and spare for my one pot and a spare for my other pot with 80% of the gasket material left.Perfect material when you need small rubber pieces. I use it around my bicycle. Hard to find in small pieces.Exactly what I needed thickness and sizeI used it to cover the top opening on my hobie cat toy box (stores sails and other items); to eliminate water entry into the box. I tie it down with three bungee cords. I have been using for about a month now and it works great.I used this to make a gasket for my air compressor and it works better than the old one.This material is excellent to create gaskets for spigots and such when home brewing. I also used a portion of it to create a nonskid waterproof surface\spacer for the top of a home made stir plate. Was delivered when expected.Mainly bought to make a gasket for my water distiller. It cost 1/2 of the price of the actual gasket and i have enough to make 4. Mine didnt not have a staple through it. It shipped in a plastic bag. Easy to work with using scissors and a punch. Made a few other gaskets as well. Pretty sure more of this will be ordered.This was exactly what I ordered. I used it to seal around the intake and exhaust tubes for my RV heater. The old one had worn through, and a replacement part was unavailable.Bought this for making a gasket and it is much too soft.All the silicone squeezes out the sides when parts were put togther.It is a tough material though.Material is NOT 1/16 inch thick, it is more than 1/8 inches thick. Also found some contaminants embedded in the silicone, something like dirt or dust.It worked fine for my application, made a replacement gasket for my Toby regulator on my diesel Geo Stove. Just traced around the old one, cut out w scissors and installed. No leaks
