This lamp is perfect! The amount of light it emits is just right, the adjustable height is awesome and makes it able to be used in any space, and the touch on/off on the base of the lamp is simple and easy. And, on top of all that, it's really pretty and aesthetically pleasing!! I would definitely recommend this lamp. I'll be buying another one!The lamp is great. Simply a case of removing the protective film from the wonderful shade, plug it in, touch the little "switch" area, and it's done.The usb charger is quite fast, certaily the best charger I have indoors.Negative points (the reasons it lost a star), the operating area (the bit you touch to turn it on/off/dim/brighten) is too small, very difficult to find in the dark causing me to knock things over, make a racket and get bokkoled by the missus, and that won't do, will it? Also getting the right dim setting is like performing an ancient Chinese martial art move. Hold it for a second, starts to dim, speeds up, quickly remove finger (saying the necessary ahh-soo - or is that Japanese?) Only to find you've overshot and the lamp is producing a glow more feeble than a 1965 VW Beetle's sidelight in a 1965 London smog, yes, definitely ahh-so (or similar). Love it thougb.The lamp is lovely, I love the fact they have used very little plastic, having said that, it was over wrapped with plastic, which defeats the object, you can use bio biodegradable wrapping that looks like plastic now, but is plastic free. You couldn't tell the difference. The problem I had was, the wireless charger didnt work on my phone, ( maybe you have to have a phone built for wireless charging?) And the USB connection for charging was very slow, ( 20 mins for a 1% charge) not good. It could be that I just got a faulty one, if they had made the same lamp without the USB etc, I would have bought one.I was originally disappointed with the size of this lamp as I was hoping it would be big enough to use in the lounge as an additional phone charger. I use it at my bedside and love the dimmable light option as it can be bright if I am reading and then can dim down when I am ready for sleeping. Also find the additional usb socket handy for charging my watch
