I use these in a studio space for general lighting and shooting video. The main reaosn was the 5000K temp that blends with the video lighting far better than the 6000/6500k more commonly available. I don't detect any flicker on my videos. Fitting is a breeze and I got the surface mounting kit for the studio. I also use these for lighting in my garage/workshop and they create far better more even light than the prior tubes and spot lights.
